Private preview: this is rolling out and may not be available on your account yet.
Once Sumvin is connected, your agent knows where you are in setting up and what it can do for you now. It tells you the next step instead of guessing. What happens first depends on where you are:

If you don’t have an account yet

You can connect before you have a Sumvin account. Until you create one, your agent sees a single tool, and that tool gives you a sign-up link.
1

Ask your agent to get you started

It hands you a link. Open it in your browser. Your agent can’t fill it in for you.
2

Create your account

Use the same sign-in you used when you connected. An account created under a different sign-in won’t reach this connection.
3

Go back to your conversation

Tell your agent you’re done. It now sees the full set of Sumvin tools.
If your agent says sign-up can’t be started from the conversation right now, try again later. There’s no separate sign-up page yet.

Before you’re verified

Getting verified means confirming your phone number, then your identity. Until that’s done, anything that gives your agent spending authority waits. Ask for it early and your agent answers with the next step, not an error:
  • Verification not started: your agent asks you to start it.
  • Verification in progress: nothing has gone wrong. Your agent asks you to check back once it’s finished.
This is by design. Only a verified person can give an agent authority to act for them.

Where you are

Ask your agent where you are. It reads your progress stage by stage. Reading it changes nothing. Each stage is done, up next, still ahead or skipped. A skipped stage doesn’t apply to your account. Your agent reads something like this:
Example progress

Getting verified

Your agent can give you one link that covers both stages in a single browser visit. Open it and follow the page. There’s nothing for your agent to do afterwards except check your progress again. The link is yours alone, works once and expires. If it stops working, ask your agent for a new one. If you’re already verified, your agent says so and gives you no link. If verification is busy, your agent will tell you to try again later.

Once you’re verified

Ask your agent to show your Sigil, your verified identity. If it says your Sigil hasn’t been issued yet, that’s expected while issuance is rolling out. See Your Sigil.

Things your agent can’t do here

Some parts of your account are managed only in the Sumvin app or the Sumvin CLI. If your agent reaches for one, it tells you where to go instead.

Get verified

Confirm your phone and your identity in one browser visit.
Try asking your agent: “Where am I with my Sumvin setup?”
