Start with the Dashboard. Almost every quickstart on this page requires an API key minted in the dashboard. If you haven’t already, work through the SIS Dashboard quickstart first — it walks you through creating an organisation, adding an environment, wiring up an auth provider, and issuing your first key.
Quickstarts marked early access are available to partners working with us directly today. Engage now to shape the sandbox spec, influence the rollout, and be first to ship against each surface — contact your account manager to get onboarded.

Prerequisites summary

Before running any quickstart, make sure you have the right credentials for your persona:
  • App developer — a partner account and a Platform API JWT. See authentication.
  • Verifier — a SIS API audience identifier and access to the JWKS endpoint. A SIS API key is only required if you intend to call the revocation endpoint.
  • SIS Dashboard — a Clerk-backed dashboard account on dash.sis.sumvin.com. See the dashboard authentication model.

Pick a persona

If you’re building a consumer product on Sumvin, start with I’m an app developer. If you’re accepting Sumvin credentials at a request boundary, start with I’m a merchant or verifier. If you’re wiring up AI agents that transact on a user’s behalf, start with I’m building agent flows. Unsure which applies — open the Platform API introduction and the persona will pick itself.
