Envoy is Sumvin’s money agent. Your agent creates the errand; Envoy runs it, inside the limits you grant. Envoy does the legwork: it asks you what it needs to know, then, once you’ve signed, it searches, compares, checks the merchant, and makes the purchase.

What Envoy can’t do

  • Act without a mandate. Envoy spends only within a Stamped Mandate you signed.
  • Sign for you. You ask, and you sign the errand’s bounds before Envoy searches. Until you do, Envoy waits. After that, it searches, checks the merchant, watches for your conditions, and settles within what you signed.
  • Go past your limits. The mandate’s ceiling and expiry bind Envoy the same way they bind any agent.
You don’t need to connect Envoy or talk to it directly. Your own agent creates errands through the connector or the CLI, and Envoy runs them.
