A Sigil proves that a verified person stands behind an agent. It doesn’t hand that person’s details to everyone the agent meets.

What your agent sees

Your agent sees what its tools return, and only for your account:

• whether you are verified, and your next step if you aren’t;
• your Sigil, and its own agent identity;
• the mandates it asked for, and the errands it runs;
• the account information you agreed to share when you connected it.

Your agent doesn’t see your identity documents. It can’t see your other agents.

What a counterparty sees

When your agent presents a Stamped Mandate to a merchant, a service or another agent, they can learn:

• what the mandate permits, and any amount it allows;
• whether you signed it;
• whether it still stands.

They don’t learn your name or your email from it.
