How it works

Envoy turns a request into action by running an — a scope-bound tasking run with a clear intent, a granted authorisation, and a window to act in. Envoy is what executes that Errand on your behalf. Every action Envoy takes is authorised by a : a signed permission scoped to exactly what you allowed. Envoy can only act within those bounds, and nothing happens outside them. On the wire, Envoy is the agent signer that signs those authorised actions, paired with a chat surface for the conversation. The product name is Envoy; the underlying signing and conversation surfaces keep their technical identifiers.
